Gambling Roll Skill
Penny Drop Game

one cent play, This clever tavern gambling machine is fun to play. The playfield rotates about 10º back and forth with the handle on the right side of the machine.

You drop a penny in, and roll it back and forth, rolling the penny down several levels, trying to get it into the winning pocket in the center at the bottom. It says, “Put It Here ~ Win A Beer”. There is a series of shelf rails that you use to manipulate the penny down to the winning pocket.

If you go off the right or left edge, the penny falls out of play and goes into the cash box

A new player can get about 1 out of 10 pennies into the win slot. The winning penny is trapped in the win slot, the player shows the bar keeper, and gets his free beer.

The bar keeper presses the button below the win slot, and the winning penny drops into a separate cash box so the operator can count the pennies in the winning cash box and reimburse the tavern for the winning beers.

The operator can make minute adjustments to the bottom two shelf rails that guide the penny into the winning slot. He can change the angle and move them sideways in or out to make it easy or hard. With the adjustable rails all the way out, about 1 out of 10 win. With them all the way in, only about 1 out of 100 win.

It is hammer-tone brown, 14 inches tall, 7 ½ inches wide. Has 4 rubber feet, and a highly polished aluminum front that says Roll Skill and 1¢ on it.

This machine was originally made from the 1930s to the 1970s. When it went out of production, many of the remaining pieces were found and reassembled with some replacement parts to make the ones we have for sale. Less than 6 machines are left. No scratches, no dings, this machine is new and never been on location

Replica 19300s PACE
Whiz Ball Penny Flip

This machine is a working extended production of the original Pace Whiz Ball made from original Pace tooling. It looks and plays identical to the old machine. Aluminum, Brass, Steel and Wood,

The player inserts a penny into the slot, turns the crank on the side of the machine, and 5 steel balls drop into the playfield shooting trough.

One at a time, the player “snaps” the thumb operated shooting handle, and shoots one of the steel balls whirling up into the spiral playfield. Centrifugal force speeds the ball up as it goes around the playfield! It’s easy to shoot it hard and get the center score hole, so that hole is an “Out”.

The hardest hole to hit is the next one from the center which is 50 points. The other score holes are 40, 30, 20 and 10 points.

When the ball enters one of the scoring holes, it is sorted into a score tally column. After the player shoots all 5 balls, he tallies his score in the score columns.

First made in the early 1930’s by Pace Manufacturing Company. It is one of the most fun counter top skill games ever made! It’s only 9 inches wide and 17 inches tall to the top of the marquis. It also has a feature that allows it to be wall mounted with 1 screw!

It has been 50 years (1952) since this machine was in production. Utilizing the orignal Pace tooling, very limited number were made. Each machine has a serial number stamped into the back base and is accompanied by a corresponding numbered Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the slot master who supervised this final run and is suitable for framing.

A limited number of 500 machines were manufactured. After the last production run of this model was made, the tooling was destroyed. This machine will never be made again.

Replica 1930s PACE
Baseball Penny Flip

This machine is a working extended production of the original Pace Baseball game, made from original Pace tooling. It looks and plays identical to the old machine. Aluminum, Brass, Steel and Wood

The player inserts a penny into the slot, turns the crank on the side of the machine, and 5 steel balls drop below the playfield to the "On Deck" shooting trough.

One at a time, the player “snaps” the thumb operated shooting handle, and shoots one of the steel balls whirling up into the baseball playfield.

The playfield looks like a baseball diamond. It has 5 individual scoring pockets, Home Run, Triple, Double, Single and Walk. It also has a large V backstop near the bottom labeled “Foul Ball”.

Balls landing behind the 3rd base and the 1st base (walk) lines hit the backstop and are foul balls, just like in the real game! A hole at the bottom of the foul ball backstop V funnel is marked Shoot Again.

All foul balls go into this hole and re-emerge back into the On Deck shooting trough to be played again! Only one hole at the absolute bottom of the playfield is labeled Out. All the balls that score into one of the scoring pocket are sorted out into the score columns below the playfield. Outs go directly to the Out column.

First made in the late 1930’s by Pace Manufacturing Company. It is one of the classic counter top skill games. It’s only 9 inches wide and 17 inches tall to the top of the marquis. It also has a feature that allows it to be wall mounted with 1 screw!

Each machine has a serial number deep stamped into the wood back base and is accompanied by a corresponding numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the slot master who supervised this final run and is suitable for framing.

A limited number of 500 machines are being manufactured. When this last production run of this model is made, the tooling for it will be destroyed. This machine will never be made again.
