    #39: 1930s Countertop
    Int'l Mutoscope
    Mechanical Operation
    Junior Crane

Circa 1932s. Made by International Mutoscope Copmany,

    All mechanical operation
The mechanical diggers/cranes are more desirable and collectible than the later model electric diggers and therefore harder to find in good condition.

    The Junior Crane features:

    • the original graphic of a factory scene in the back,
    • the original store house buildings on either side of the original crane, nicely painted
    • The wood finish on the case has been restored,
    • All the metal parts have been highly polished,

We have also added a small light inside the crane to brighten its features, but the light can be easily removed

    Here is how it works:

    • You insert 2 pennies in the coin slide, push it in,
    • Turn the knob to point the crane to the right, left, or center.
    • Then turn the spinner knob and watch the crane come down, close its claws around a price,
    • As you keep turning the spinner knob, the crane raises the prize and then drops it in the opening so it falls in the chute
    • Open the chute door so you can get your prize.

See Video of the Junior Crane in operation below

Fully working, with lock and key, countertop crane ready to be placed on a stand or a deep bookcase.

Dimensions: Width: 19 inches Depth: 17 inches Height: 36 1/2 inches
