Ideal Model 55 "Slider"
Coke, 7-Up, Royal Crown
Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, etc.

Produced throughout the late fifites, Ideal Sliders were a common fixture in everyday life. Ideal 55s operate by means of a rack in which bottles hang by their necks. When a coin is inserted into the cash box, the patron would slide a bottle to the end of the cooler and lift it through the vending mechanism. Its compact size and relatively low cost makes the Ideal Model 55 a great alternative to the larger and more elaborate Vendo models. Fully restored and operational. Holds 55 bottles, Dimensions: 37W x 42H x 19 1/2 D. Weight - 204 lbs.

Most 1950s soda companies had 55 sliders: Coke Cola, R/C Cola, 7 up, Pepsi, Hires root bear Dr. Pepper, Canada dry, Bireleys, Nezbitts and many more.
