Mr. Peanut - Cast Iron - "Original"

Original cast iron figure of Mr. Peanut from the Planters Peanut building located on S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Planters peanuts dates back to 1906 but the Planters building was demolished back in 2006. Many of the Mr. Peanuts figures that adorned this building were given out as retirement gifts to loyal employees.

This Mr Peanut was purchased this from a retiree. Mr. Peanut weights about 160 lbs and is 40? high. And yes, he is hollow inside. Definitely not a reproduction
